Upper Rockridge

A wonderful mix of homes from the 1920's to those built after the Oakland Hills fire of 1991, Upper Rockridge is a highly desirable neighborhood in Oakland California.

Many of the homes have views of the bay and while walking in the neighborhood it is not uncommon to wonder by a blooming garden featured in Sunset Magazine. Open year round, take the Broadway Terrace off of Hwy 13 and you will find yourself  at Lake Temescal, a  popular place for fishing, swimming and afternoon walks around the lake.

Another well known neighborhood staple is the Village Market. The Village Market is an upscale market where everyone knows your name. With a fabulous selection of fresh fruits, and a meat department offering a wide selection of meat and fish, there is something for everyone, even a sushi bar! Having a dinner party? Make sure to talk to Tom for his wine paring suggestion.

Convenient to shops in Lower Rockridge and in Montclair, Upper Rockridge is ideal for people want to be close to modern conveniences. With Bart, casual carpool and Highway 13 minutes away, local cities such as; San Francisco, Berkeley, Walnut Creek, Alameda and Downtown Oakland are all an easy commute.
