The Bay Area's Biggest and Best Rummage Sale
A Benefit for the Oakland Museum of California
Sponsored by the Oakland Museum Women's Board

The White Elephant Sale is the biggest, the best, and certainly the most enjoyable rummage sale in Northern California. All proceeds from the sale go to support programs and exhibitions at the Oakland Museum of California.

There are 17 departments in the White Elephant Sale—with everything for sale from sporting goods to boutique items, books to furniture, art to electrical items, dishes to shoes, and children's clothes, toys and furnishings to Hawaiian shirts and vintage clothing—all spread out in separate departments in the 96,000-square-foot warehouse. You will find collectibles and treasures of all sorts!

The White Elephant Sale will be held on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2009, with a Preview Sale Sunday January 25, 2009. The Sale is held at the White Elephant Sale Warehouse at 333 Lancaster Street, just off the 880 Freeway/Fruitvale exit near the Oakland Estuary. The Sale and preview are open from 10:00 to 4:00 each day.
