The Revival of downtown Napa (part 3-Dinner) It’s all the rage!
Dinner in Downtown Napa overlooking the Napa river. We started the night at Fish Story
for drinks at the bar and ended up dining al fresco in the patio
overlooking the river. One of the reasons we decided to give this place
a try is because they follow the Monterey Aquariums Seafood Watch guide
while shopping for the fish used in their cooking.
After laboring over the menu choices, I decided to try the crab
salad. The portion was perfect, the crab was fresh, and at the end of my
main, I had just enough room for desert.
At the reastaurant I discovered this restaurant is part of the Lark
Creek Restaurant Group, co-founded in 1989 by Napa Valley residents
Michael and Leslye Dellar, chef Bradley Ogden and Jody Ogden, consists
of ten restaurants including: The Tavern at Lark Creek; One Market®
Restaurant; Lark Creek Steak; Lark Creek Walnut Creek; Parcel 104®;
Bradley Ogden™; Moreton Fig™; and multiple Yankee Pier® restaurants.
After our meal we walked down and saw a huge crowd at some of the other restaurants as well. Well….there’s always next time!
